NH Poor People's Campaign held rally in Concord

After a powerful rally, where more than 100 people heard denunciations of poverty from people who have known it first hand, 6 members of the NH Poor People's Campaign stood holding banners in the middle of N. State Street until they were arrested by Concord police and taken to the couny jail in Boscawn for processing.

The theme of today's action was "Sombebody's Hurting My People," with an emphasis on systemic poverty's impact on children, women, and people with disabilities.
