Interfaith Prayer Vigil for Immigrant Justice, June 6

You are invited to an Interfaith Prayer Vigil outside of the offices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the federal building in Manchester from 8:30am - 9:30am to stand in prayer, songs and silence in solidarity with immigrants who have check-in appointments that day with ICE, and who face the threat of detention and deportation. The ICE offices are located at the Norris Cotton Federal Building, 275 Chestnut Street, Manchester. All faith traditions are welcome, as well as those who do not identify with a faith tradition.

The vigil will last from for one hour. Those who are able to do so can remain after in prayer to await the outcome of each appointment. Faith communities and other groups can bring their organizational banners to show the diversity of representation at the vigil. There will not be yelling; no handmade signs; this is not a rally.

This event is peaceful, and is not designed to disrupt traffic or entry to the building. Please allow extra time for parking.
