The Rev. Canon Hannah Anderson's Reflections on Service for Emanuel AME

This week I had the honor of joining with leaders from the Greater Concord Interfaith Council to offer a worship service in memory of the nine people who died in the recent shooting at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina.  I joined with the Rev. Keith Patterson (St. Paul’s, Concord) and Dan Andrus (St. Andrew’s, Hopkinton and Concord Fire Chief) to represent the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire among leaders from Hindu, Baha’i, Islamic, Buddhist, Jewish and Christian faith traditions.  More than one hundred people attended to hear prayers and readings, engage silence and song and rededicate themselves to the way of peace...
