The New Hampshire House of Representatives is scheduled to debate the state budget on April 1st. Their proposal is certain to contain cuts that will put at risk many of the state’s essential human services, as well as programs needed for public safety, transportation, and protection of the environment. NH Voices of Faith is hosting aPrayer Breakfast and Vigil on April 1, calling on lawmakers to approve a humane budget, one that promotes the well-being and fair treatment of all people, especially those among us who are the most vulnerable and whose dignity is threatened by irresponsible public policy choices.
All are welcome.
8 am – Prayer Breakfast, St. Paul’s Church, 21 Centre Street, Concord
9:30 am – Prayer Vigil, State House second floor.
